Dove Frosted Plum Berry Body Wash and Body Scrub Review - Musings of a Muse (1)

Has anyone tried the new Dove Frosted Plum Berry Body Wash? As you already know, Dove went all out with their Holiday Treats Collection this year! We got a Holiday Treats Fall Collection that features scents like Apple Cider Caramel and Pecan Butter Crunch Body Wash and we got another round of Holiday Treats for the Holiday season featuring scents like Hot Cocoa Swirl, Spiced Chai Latte, Sugar Cookie Sprinkle, and Gingerbread Delight.

Dove has been pretty busy gifting us with tons of yummy treats these past two seasons and I’m here for it. Dove Frosted Plum Berry is actually a Target Exclusive Collection that’s available in Body Wash, Body Scrub, Solid Soap, and Deo. I managed to get my hands on the Dove Frosted Plum Berry Body Wash and Body Scrub. I actually did see the deo pop up online but I didn’t indulge as I have the ones from the Fall Collection that I still need to use and buying more seems excessive.

My personal fav from this year’s launch was the Hot Cocoa Swirl but Frosted Plum Berry comes in second. I love this scent. I don’t even know how describe Frosted Plum Berry but Dove says its a blend of frosted plum and spun sugar. I’d say that’s accurate but I’d go so far as to say it smells like a berry crumble. It’s fruity, sugary, with yummy berry and plum notes. It’s quite nice! I don’t know if it screams Holiday but it does smell sweet and yummy!

The body wash is wonderful! It creates a beautiful, thick, and moisturizing lather! For $7 bucks you really can’t beat a Dove Body Wash! It’s a great formula and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and lightly scented with the Frosted Plum Berry fragrance which surprised me as some of these Holiday Body Washes are in shower experience and don’t have a lingering scent.

The body scrub isn’t my ideal pick as I like a more gritty scrub but for daily use it’s great. It’s thick, creamy, and has a fine grain texture which does lather up when water is applied. It rinses clean away and used daily it will definitely keep skin nice and smooth!

Dove Frosted Plum Berry Body Wash and Body Scrub Review - Musings of a Muse (7)Isabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I may have said it before, but to me and my husband that smells like taking the foil top off of a Yoplait mixed berry yogurt. I kind of love it while I don’t eat yogurt, lol.

Yep, I think she was at QVC or Evine/NBC before with this line. Then moved over to HSN. Her oils are amazing! I like the mineral tinted one, too. . And she STILL sells the Model’s Secret lifter smoother wrinkle thing, too.

stop! I need to try! I haven’t been following her! back in the day she wrote me some very lovely emails! Her stuff was staple for me! I loved it and was buying every set she came out with. I’m going to check her skincare out now 😀 I miss the good old beauty days. Everything is so rinse and repeat lately : (

I miss all of that so much too! I used to buy some awesome Jerome Alexander makeup kits back in the late 90s from HSN, then Mario Luigi, then ready to wear. Now everything is so expensive, even the Adrienne sets. Morgen mostly does skin care, I don’t think I have seen any makeup from her now that she is with the argon brand I guess she started. I still am a Perlier whore, though

I used to buy all the Adrienne sets. She so wasn’t by age at the time but I loved the correctors (remember the blue one?) and I adored the skincare even though back then I didn’t need anti-aging skincare LOL! I love Perlier! The coffee perfumes used to be great!

Yeeees, and Serious Skincare massive kits were my jam along with Adrienne, and yes on the “anchor woman blue” concealer!!
I have ALL the Caribbean Vanilla perfumes, even the old school with mango and the lime one. They are launching 3 new ones, soft launch with creams only up now, but by holiday next year full expansion on each:
Vanilla with: Bourbon, Spiced Caramel (which they had Caramel for a short time in the past, so I wonder if it’s the same) and w/ raspberry. I was hoping the latter would be like the long gone CSP Vanille Raspberry.

ME TOO! the coffee ones! OMG memories! Hahaha! I loved those perfumes! Thanks for this as I have to go look now at the new launches :-D! I wasn’t a big serious skincare but man Adrienne could sell me snow on a hot Summer day! What a sales woman! LOL!

Between Amanda Borghese at 81 w/ Perlier & Adrienne at 83 years old, those women are amazing! I miss Marilyn Miglin immensely. Yes, HSN is still going strong for me, and Dimitri James w/ Skinn is fabulous, imo. Just to see what designer he is wearing, lol, plus his products and education are top notch.

I loved chatting with you, thanks for taking the time & all you do! It’s selfless work these days, I’m sure, but you make a difference in my life. We could chat for days, lol. I’m up to well over 3,000 bottles in my perfume collection, so that’s another year of convos w/ you. Haha.
    Have a beautiful weekend. xo
